Amazon India Launches Its Own Air Cargo Network - WebNewsOrbit

Amazon India has become the first e-commerce platform to announce its own air cargo service — Amazon Prime Air.

This fleet will be operated by Quikjet Cargo Airlines, and will transport goods across the country, aiming to reduce the average delivery time in India.

The aircrafts are Boeing 737-800, known for their higher cargo capacity. The service will be available in Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Delhi, and Mumbai and will benefit around 1.1 million sellers in the country.

India is the third country to get Amazon Prime Air cargo after the US and Europe, which currently has 110 Prime Air cargo flights flying across 70 destinations around the world.
